Our customers’ data privacy is important to us, we are committed to keeping your data secure in full compliance with  the EU’s General Data Protection Regulations which came into effect on 25 May 2018.

Personal information we collect from the people that visit our website, app and other social media sites

When registering on our site, we collect your name, email address, phone number or other details to help you with your MyPDA experience and allow us to contact you with support, newsletters and other useful information. You can unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time using the link provided within our emails.

When we collect information

We collect information from you when you register or enter/amend information on our website and mobile app.

How we use your information

We may use the information we collect from you when you register, subscribe, sign up for our newsletter, respond to a survey or marketing communication, search the website, or we may use the information in the following ways:

  • To administer a promotion, survey or other MyPDA related feature.
  • To send you periodic emails regarding your account or other products and services.
  • To contact and respond to you following any direct correspondence on social media, chats or email.
  • To communicate with you about our products and let you know about changes to our Policies and Terms & Conditions.
How we protect your information

Your personal information is held within secure networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to our systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.

All sensitive and credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and all payment transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers.

  • We do not use vulnerability scanning and/or scanning to PCI standards.
  • We do not use Malware Scanning.
  • We are PCI compliant when we collect any credit card information.

We implement a variety of security measures when a user enters, submits, or accesses their information to maintain the safety of your personal information, including using your data to verify your account and activity, combat harmful conduct, detect and prevent spam and other bad experiences to maintain the integrity of our products, and promote safety and security for the benefit of our registered users.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to access, amend, delete and restrict the use of your data. In compliance with GDPR MyPDA is committed to:

  • Making it easy for you to understand the data we hold about you.
  • Allowing you to access, update and delete your data.
  • Keeping your data safe and secure.
  • Collecting data with your consent.
  • Providing you with the option to unsubscribe from marketing communications.

3. Use of Cookies

We use cookies to allow users to access their account website and mobile app. If you turn cookies off then some features may be disabled and not function properly which may affect your experience.

Our cookies stores some data so that we can keep you logged into the website and/or mobile app.

A cookie notice will be displayed when you reach the site, these cookies will track your activity whilst you are on the website and/or mobile app and within our marketing pages so that we can:

  • See how you got to the site for the purpose of future marketing
  • Track how you use our platform and the features available to you, including how often you login which is used to help us improve the user experience and the software functionality.
  • We do not sell your usage data to any third party.

Third-party disclosure

We sometimes work with third party partners to help us provide and improve our products and services, this makes it possible to operate and provide some free of charge features for our customers to enjoy. We will not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal data to outside parties unless you have given your consent to do so.

Third-party links

To provide an improved user experience we sometimes include third party links and adverts on our website which are made visible when you logged into your user account.

Transfer of Ownership

If the ownership or control of all or part of our products or their assets change, we may transfer your information to the new owner.

Advertisers

We may provide advertisers with reports about the kind of users that are seeing their ads and how their ads are performing, but we don’t share information that personally identifies you (information such as your name or email address that by itself could be used to contact you or identifies who you are) unless you give us permission.

Law Enforcement

We share information with law enforcement or in response to legal requests:

  • In response to a legal request, if we have a good-faith belief that the law requires us to do so. We can also respond to legal requests when we have a good-faith belief that the response is required by law in that jurisdiction, affects users in that jurisdiction and is consistent with internationally recognised standards.
  • When we have a good-faith belief that it is necessary to: detect, prevent and address fraud, unauthorised use of the Products, breaches of our Terms or Policies, or other harmful or illegal activity; to protect ourselves (including our rights, property or Products), you or others, including as part of investigations or regulatory enquiries. For example, if relevant, we provide information to and receive information from third-party partners about the reliability of your account to prevent fraud, abuse and other harmful activity on and off our Products.

5. Data Governance

Your Project Information

We are fully committed to keeping the data you create and store on your account private & confidential, including your non personal data such as information that is sensitive to each development project.

  • We will not use or share your project data with any other person or third party, only the account holder has access to individual projects.
  • We use anonymised collective data within the database to help us with future marketing and user adoption strategies.
  • To enable our technical team to make amendments and perform testing for accuracy relating to the backend financial formulas we have access to the financial data of a project e.g. input & output data relating to calculations made by the system (for example the quick deal analysis), however we do not have access to nor the capability to match this type of information to any project.
  • Management do not have permission or the access to any project information held within your account.
  • Our technical team (software developers) do not have permission to access your project data information, however in the event that an error or problem is reported the software developers would have the ability to review your account to resolve any such issue.
  • To request deletion of the data stored within your account, please provide us with the relevant information by emailing us at contact@mypda.co.uk
  • What happens on your account stays on your account.
